The vision of this design stemmed from the soft shade of yellow – buttercream. At this vineyard venue where the land is vast and the sunlight touched through all the pockets between the overcasting lush trees, the bride was truly chasing its’ rays and all its’ warmth. Trust us in Ontario, there is so much cold weather we are constantly searching for warmth. Can you believe the day started off with a HUGE rainstorm and overcasting clouds? Just like a real wedding, monitoring weather for a styled shoot is much of the same. Slowly the fog shifted away and gave us the sunlight we were looking and longing for.

For this intimate wedding we set out to invite only the closest of family and friends and of course extending invites to you as well, viewing online. Creating the perfect aisle for the ceremony were a row of arching trees forming almost like a tunnel of a walkway. Our bride had her own secret garden to frolic in and a beautiful lilac bush amongst it. All of natures growth were complimenting to be the brides favourite reasons to having an outdoor wedding. It truly reflected and embraced a Niagara-on-the-Lake wedding.

Taking you through the tablescape you’ll find minimal flowers. Instead we’ve arranged for a non-traditional centrepiece which includes a never ending charcuterie board covering the length of the table. What’s better than flowers? Wine and cheese of course! The display is an open invitation for their guests to help themselves to a classic appetizer course served a differently but served for all to enjoy. Following the minimalistic details, our cakes made by Love in Bloom Cakes were decorated with gold foil and dried flowers. Their uneven buttercream edges mimicked our invitation suite.

Our bride transitioned between two gowns from Sash & Bustle. The one for ceremony had the classic long train and veil in which she embellished her look with buttercream yellow toned jewelled drop earrings and a gold leaf vine running through her hair. Opting for a lighter option for reception, the bride plays around with a flowy, deep-v, lace appliqué gown that serves sexy as well as romantic. Her biggest accessory is her cluster stacked ring from Kim Drosdick.

We’re so happy to have produced this styled shoot with some amazing vendors to create this relaxed summer wedding. Our bride completely stole the show. We love curating new inspiration and hope you took some ideas away with you while perusing through our gallery. As featured on Greylikes Weddings.
