Dahee and Chris’s wedding took place at one of Toronto’s newly built venues Eglinton West Gallery sister of York Mills Gallery. With the venue just opening in February, the couple had set their wedding date for April. Not only were they excited to be one of the first couples to get married there but I was eager myself to work at the brand new EWG. The couple planned their wedding within a matter of 6 months. Before stopping over for ceremony and reception the couple chose to take photos in an industrial studio space located near the venue. The result was a minimal, clean and modern backdrop matching their calming personalities.
The couple said their I Do’s under a cherry blossom arch and dined alongside their friends and families. The speeches throughout the night were my favourite part of the wedding. Each of them well written, emphasizing their relationship and confirming their perfect match for one another. The night was filled with love, laughs and lots of dancing including multiple kpop performances and the groom break dancing in the middle of the dance floor stunning everyone with his skills. A late night poutine station kept all the guests satiated until the party ended.
